In order to reinforce the upstream of agriculture, and in partnership with the Central Laitière, SOMED started an integrated project in 2008 for dairy production. Located in the region of Gharb, the exploitation of an area of 1400 acres hosts a livestock of 3,500 heifers.

By 2012, Laitplus plans to produce 30 million liters per year through the exploitation of 10,000 dairy cows.
